Valentina Vuksic

Valentina Vuksic (CH/NL) studied New Media Art at the Zurich University of the Arts and Information Systems in Germany. She approaches digital technology via magnetic pickup microphones. The uncovered and amplified noise mediates processes enfolding within orchestrated soft- and hardware spaces.

Valentina and 5VOLTCORE entered the competition "Kunst:Relevant" with a project called "Harddisko feat. Shockbot Corejulio". Winning this competition made it possible for them to finish the Harddisko as well as the Shockbot. It was also their first exhibition - but not the last one: "Shockbot Corejulio" and the Harddisko met again at the "Piksel 06" Festival and the "DEAF 07" in Rotterdam.
